Shock spread throughout the music industry when it was announced that Soundgarden and Audioslave singer Chris Cornell was found dead at midnight on Thursday (May 18) in Detroit, and the news is just as surprising to veteran music photographer Ken Settle, who was on-site for the band's final show... he said "I shot Chris with Soundgarden back in the early '90s, and sometimes he could seem fairly sullen onstage". He continued to say "But last night, during what I shot, he seemed very upbeat, engaging the audience much more than I remember in the past."
