Kristen Stewart Crashes Lesbian Wedding In Canada

Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend Stella Maxwell crashed a lesbian wedding in Canada on Saturday. The two went to a pizza parlor in Winnipeg, where newlywed brides Kirsten and Kayleigh Jennings were celebrating with a reception for nearly 100 guests after having tied the knot hours earlier. Stewart and Maxwell even joined in with some drinking and dancing.

After Kayleigh and Kirsten wed in a nearby backyard, they and their wedding guests headed over to Pizzeria Gusto for the reception. At one point, however, the restaurant’s owner pulled them over and asked if it was okay if Stewart, who’s filming the movie JT Leroy in Winnipeg, came in for some drinks. (Stewart had a connection to the owner of Pizzeria Gusto, who had catered an event for the actress.) Not surprisingly, the brides had no problem with the Victoria’s Secret model and Stewart coming to their wedding celebration.

Stewart and Maxwell stayed from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., and made an effort not to overshadow the brides on their big day. Still, Stewart graciously spoke to some guests and posed for photos, including one with Kayleigh and Kirsten (below). She also suggested some songs to deejay Karli Colpitts to keep the party going.

Kirsten and Kayleigh reportedly met in 2010 in the Cayman Islands, where they were both bartenders. Kayleigh grew up in Oklahoma, and Kirsten is originally from Winnipeg. When they left the Caribbean in 2012, same-sex marriages were not legal in all of the U.S., so they settled in Canada. While there, the brides both earned college degrees, and now they plan on moving to the U.S.

Below is a photo taken by the wedding reception’s deejay that she shared on Instagram of Kayleigh hugging her new wife Kirsten next to unexpected wedding guest Kristen Stewart. Undoubtedly, the Jennings will never forget how a supermodel and big star helped them celebrate on their wedding night.
