Why YouTube Took Down 8 Million Videos

For a long time, you could pretty much upload just about anything to YouTube. Last month however, the company said it took down 8 million videos due to several different types of "adult content"

"Last week, a CNN investigation found ads from over 300 companies and organizations that ran on YouTube channels promoting white nationalists, Nazis, pedophilia, North Korean propaganda and other controversial or extremist content. In the past, ads have appeared on ISIS videos and other extremist and hateful content." says CNN.com.

YouTube came under some serious scrutiny with the Logan Paul videos. It may be one of several reasons for the crackdown.
