Nabisco's Barnum Cookies Have Freed the Animals

posted by @CarlaMarieandAnthony -

After 116 years Nabisco has changed the look of Barnum's Animals Crackers. About two years ago PETA brought to everyone's attention how the animals on the box were in cages. The change has finally been made and now the animals are freed!

šŸšØDID YOU HEAR?šŸšØ After 116 years animals are no longer behind bars!!! . . The packaging of Barnum's Animals, a classic Nabisco snack, doesn't depictĀ the exotic creatures inĀ cages anymore. Instead, aĀ zebra, an elephant, aĀ lion, a giraffe and a gorilla are out roaming among grass and trees. . . . The change comes at the urging of animal-rights organizationĀ @peta, who said that in April 2016, it pointed out to Nabisco's parent company, Mondelez International,Ā that circuses oftenĀ beat, shock, chainĀ and whipĀ Ā animals to intimidate them into performing tricks. Other cruel practices include tearing baby animals away from their mothers andĀ keeping animals in cages and chains, they said. . . Times are changing people! āœØšŸ‘šŸ»šŸ¤—ā™„ļø Letā€™s continue to teach our future generations the right side of compassion. #wildandfree #astheyshouldbe #endcannedhunting #boycottthecircus
