BTS To Make 'Saturday Night Live' Debut In April

BTS is coming to Saturday Night Live!

The K-pop septet — consisting of members V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga — will make their SNL debut as musical guests, as revealed in the show's upcoming lineup. According to NBC, who released the schedule via Twitter on Wednesday (March 13), BTS will perform on the April 13 episode, hosted by Favourite actress Emma Stone.

Additional musical guests revealed to perform in the announcement include Tame Impala for the March 30 episode, hosted by Sandra Oh, as well as Sara Bareilles for the April 6 broadcast, emceed by Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington.

The news comes mere days after the boy band announced their new album, Map of the Soul: Persona, which drops ahead of their SNL performance, on April 12. The record, which follows the group's double-release efforts with last year's Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer, is said to mark the "beginning of a new chapter" for the Korean superstar collective. In addition to releasing a new album and premiering on SNL, BTS is also preparing to play 10 stadium dates for their "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour," kicking off in May.
