The Oscar Nominees Have Been Announced

Among the nominees for “Best Actor in a Supporting Role are Dev Patel for "Lion" and Jeff Bridges in "Hell or High Water." 

"O.J.: Made in America" gets a nod for the Documentary Feature category.

“La La Land,” had a big morning as the acclaimed movie starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone earned a landslide 14 nominations, including “Best Actor” for Gosling. 

As expected, Denzel Washington picked up a nod in that category for “Fences”.

The women competing for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” include Viola Davis for "Fences," Nicole Kidman "Lion," and Octavia Spencer in "Hidden Figures." 

“Best Actress” contenders include Meryl Streep, Emma Stone, and Natalie Portman. “La La Land” capped the morning with the biggest honor, being on the list for “Best Picture.”

Eight other films are up for the award including “Fences,” “Hidden Figures,” and “Manchester By The Sea.”

The Oscars will air on Sunday, February 26, and will be hosted by ABC's Jimmy Kimmel.
