How Seattle can help Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

In this time of crisis, everyone here at iHeartRadio Seattle is focused on how we can help the people and communities of Texas who are fighting the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Below are some ways that you can help and make a difference for those impacted by the storm.

American Red Cross

Donate to the American Red Cross online here, or text HARVEY to 90999 to automatically donate $10 to their efforts in Houston.

Texas Diaper Bank

San Antonio based Texas Diaper Bank is asking for wipes and diapers. Donations can be mailed to:

5415 Bandera Road, Suite 504, San Antonio, TX 78238

AABB

AABB, which organizes blood collection efforts during disasters, is calling Americans to make blood donations after Harvey's impact. O-positive is the blood type that is highest in demand. Read more about their efforts and find out where you can locally donate blood at aabb.org.

Seattle Humane Helping Houston Area Shelters

Seattle Humane is taking in multiple flights of animals coming from the Houston area animal rescue groups. Both cats and dogs that have been displaced from their Texas homes will begin to arrive at Boeing Field this week. Click here to contact Seattle Humane to become a foster pet family, or call (425) 641-0080.

United Way of Greater Houston

United Way's flood relief fund will be used for immediate needs of victims, and long term services like home repairs for homes in the Houston Area. Make your donation at unitedwayhouston.org.

Any size or type of donation will be greatly appreciated by the communities of the southeast affected by Hurricane Harvey. Get a full list of charities that are helping relief efforts for the storm's aftermath at charitynavigator.org.
