Over the weekend I saw my girl Carla Marie post about this on her instagram. Sam Sayers set out to go hiking alone.
According to the facebook that her boyfriend Kevin Dares set up, "Sam went hiking in Vesper Peak which is 75 miles NE of Seattle Wednesday (8/1) morning. She is an avid and experienced hiker, but she did not return home that evening. SAR efforts have been underway since Thursday (8/2) morning. We are creating this group in order to help streamline communication and requests for action."
According to a video recently posted by Kevin, the Snohomish PD has lied to them about sending out infrared choppers and blood hounds to search for Sam and are now working together to create search groups to find Sam.
