Welp, fellow hockey fans, get ready! A very important deadline passed at 5pm today where people could come forward and file an environmental objection on Key Arena being renovated. Nothing was filed, which means that the renovation can start on time for Key Arena for Seattle to finally become home to a Hockey team!
Final vote to begin construction happens tomorrow and then in October, the mayor and NHL Seattle group headed by David Bonderman are set to give a presentation and I'm thinking that presentation will consist of "hey, btdub...we're getting a hockey team!"
