The brush fires in Australia are absolutely terrifying. The on-going fires have been front in center in the news. Recently, Australia was lucky to have some rain to help distinguish some of the fires, but some still remain. With the fires, the wildlife has been suffering. Koalas have been unable to move quick enough to get away from burning trees and a lot of them have died or are being treated for severe burns.
Before the fire outbreaks, a cyclist was cruising down the road during a heat wave and a koala ran out into the street and begged him for water.
